Research Topics

My research interests lie at the intersection of health informatics, human-computer interaction, decision-making, data visualization, and social computing. My research aimed to support individuals with special needs (e.g., older adults with diabetes, vloggers with visual impairments, North Korean defectors with depression, Timebank members) through design and engineering across multiple domains: health, social media, sharing economy, and education.

I am pursing research in the combinations of the following directions:

  • Human-Computer Interaction [CHI, CSCW, ASSETS, TVX, SIGDOC]

  • Health Informatics [AMIA, APHA, AHNS, VAHC, ICHI]

  • Artificial Intelligence [Canadian AI]
